After many years of working in the beauty and skincare industry, our founder Yasemin realised the harmful effects of common ingredients used in mainstream skincare products. Many of her clients suffered from allergic reactions, and it became clear that something was wrong with what people were putting on their skin every day.
Driven by curiosity, Yasemin started researching more and more into the toxic ingredients used in mainstream skincare. Her journey took her back to a childhood memory of visiting her grandmother in a village in Turkey. There, she saw the beauty of simple, natural living...no chemicals, no commercial products, just pure, natural clays and oils. This memory, combined with her research, sparked her passion for creating safe, effective skincare using only the best ingredients derived from nature.
Yasemin began experimenting with natural formulas, first using them on herself and later sharing them with friends and family. The feedback was incredible. People not only loved how their skin looked, but also saw improvement in conditions like eczema and rashes. After years of research and refining her formulas with renown cosmetic formulators, combining science and nature, Yasemin officially launched Mikash Skincare, a brand dedicated to offering 100% natural, organic, and results-driven skincare products, handmade in small batches in Melbourne, Australia.
